We support innovative training, skills and workforce development projects for funding from government or corporate sources so that your organization can achieve its training goals to serve its target community. We manage some or all of the process:
We start with a meeting to discuss your needs. Once we have a clear understanding of them, we will suggest the most appropriate fund to apply for.
We then begin work developing an innovative concept / proposal to meet your needs, one that has a high probability of being approved for funding.
If appropriate, we then will provide you with options for collaboration, and begin putting together a partner network.
Once the network is in place we begin writing up the application on your behalf, review it thoroughly with you, and once approved, submit it.
Depending on the complexity of the application, the whole process may take 1-3 months, and we may need 3-5 meetings with you.
Browse the projects below to find out more about how we supported these initiatives.
The project serves 85 unemployed and underemployed newcomers to Canada who are actively seeking up-skilling and re-skilling opportunities and have an interest in training to work in supply chain-related and logistics positions in the manufacturing sector for companies in the GTA. This program enhances their employability through sector-specific training, and tangible Canadian workplace exposure, preparing participants for immediate employment in supply chain operations in manufacturing.
Additionally, 15 management employees from the manufacturing organization network which the project lead applicant will establish for participant placement will be given diversity, equity and inclusion training to enhance their access into the labour market and increase their ability to attract, recruit and retain qualified workers.
The project includes the provision of comprehensive wrap-around job-search assistance by the lead applicant.
This project will help 115 entrepreneurs and small businesses from the Indo-Canadian community in the GTA become self-sufficient in developing digital marketing strategies while implementing and evaluating digital marketing campaigns for business growth. This program will enable them to scale their marketing efforts, strengthen their online presence and deliver compelling content that will help them keep in touch with their current customers and connect with new business opportunities. They will also learn to identify elements of success and failure in their digital marketing plans and make necessary changes to optimize results.
Participants receive a microgrant to invest in their own business's digital marketing initiatives, giving them the opportunity to experiment with new techniques and put their acquired skills to work in the real world.
